This is a vibrantly colored die-cut and embossed antique mechanical valentine card showing a smiling dog, clad in a chef’s hat and apron, cooking over an antique stove and holding a heart that reads, “Greetings warm and true.” The dog’s head rotates on a brad, allowing it to look left and right with a cheerful expression.

This highly collectible valentine is printed on heavy card stock, contains an original brass brad, and is in very good condition, except for very slight creases on the tail, neck and part of the stove. The back contains the name, “Mary Margaret Baldwin,” in ink.
