This is a vibrantly colored die-cut antique stand-up valentine card showing a young boy and his pet bear taking a stroll in their garden. The boy is dressed in plaid shoes and hat, and holds a real brass chain that is affixed to both his hand and the bear’s collar. They are surrounded by beautifully stylized hearts and flowers, as well as a yellow door leading to the garden. There is a tab glued to the back allowing the card to stand on its own.

This highly collectible valentine is printed on heavy card stock, contains an original brass chain, and is in near-perfect condition, except for very slight dog-ears on the top and bottom right corners. The front indicates the card was printed in Germany.
