“Nude Reclining Woman” by Gene Szafran, Unique, original, pencil drawing, ink drawing, line drawing, abstract figure, expressionist, impressionist, modern

This captivating ink and pencil drawing titled “Nude Reclining Woman” is the creation of the incredibly talented Gene Szafran. The dynamic and energetic brushstrokes are seen throughout this engaging figure drawing of a woman reclining. The delicate touch of pencil line work that makes up the woman’s figure is an absolutely beautiful contrast to the darker ink portions of the piece. Together, each style complements the other, creating darks and lights. Tonal shades of gray partially cover the woman’s body as the skilled artist created a sense of dimensionality. The viewer is certainly engaged by what this woman’s story may be. This is an extraordinarily beautiful piece of artwork by one of the nation’s premiere illustrators and a rare find for your collection.

The exquisite and expensive frame and mat with this fantastic artwork is individually crafted and designed by Le Chateau’s professional in-house artist. This sophisticated ink drawing measures 18” by 21.” This beautiful artwork is custom matted and framed from our professional in-house framing studio. It is carefully chosen and individually crafted by Le Chateau’s own master framer. The deep maroon matting complements the dark shades in the artwork and allows the figure to come forward. The inner edge of the mat is painted black to bring out the delicate detail within the fantastic line work of the figure drawing. This amazing piece is further completed with a fan dry silver frame that is brushed with red and black to further enhance the extraordinary artwork, giving it an overall, dramatic impact. This outstanding ensemble is $780 and would make an impressive addition to any collection. This is an absolutely extraordinary purchase as the frame alone is a work of art in itself.
