This is a very rare and unique exhibition poster from the Detroit Institute of Arts featuring A snapshot from the 1900's silent film "Three American Beauties" advertising an exhibition of films before Hollywood.

The film "Three American Beauties" was ahead of it's time using an old practice of laboriously hand-tinting each frame, one at a time. The photo is a stunning, vivid example of one of the hand tinted frames.

The design of the poster is very sleek and attractive with a flat black background and white typography that allow the brilliant colors of the frame to take center stage. This poster was printed in very limited numbers and distributed solely to the Detroit Institute of Arts during the short exhibition period as an advertisement for the show, making this poster very rare. Many of the few posters printed have been lost or damaged. The poster is very high quality and in Near Fine condition.

The poster has been custom framed with a very elegant and delicately detailed gold embossed wooden frame. The custom frame was hand picked and applied by our in-house master framer who is known for her quality work and craftsmanship. The poster measures 25x33 (frame included) and comes ready to hang.

This poster is exceptionally priced considering it's rarity, quality, unique content, and elegant presentation. This poster embodies the beauty of 1900's silent film and the creative expression of color being integrated into the black and white film era. International orders:	Calculated via location. We will do our best to provide the lowest costs. First Class Mail International does not allow insurance on packages delivered to certain countries. We pride ourselves on fast communication with our buyers. Please contact us if there are any issues concerning your order as quickly as possible. If shipment is undeliverable for any reason, or buyer refuses shipment, buyer will be responsible for shipping fees, return shipping fees, duties, taxes, and any costs incurred in returning. Customs delays: We cannot control the speed of international shipping. If your country is experiencing any postal strikes, customs delays, et cetera, we are unable to increase the shipping time. Buyer has the option of paying for expedited shipping. Please be patient, we will communicate with you until your package arrives.
Lost or Damaged Items:	We insure all of our items. If you receive a damaged shipment, please contact us and your local post office immediately to file a claim.

No Payment Received:	eBay will automatically open an unpaid item case. We work with our buyers to prevent disputes and settle cases civilly. Please contact us. Payment is expected within 7 business days of purchase.
Returns:	All returns are accepted within 7 business days of purchase. After 7 business days, the buyer is responsible for a $20 or 10% restocking fee, whichever is greater, and all other pertinent return costs.
Return Shipping:	Buyer is responsible for return shipping, and asked to provide delivery confirmation and tracking for item. Refund will be issued upon safe receipt of item by our brick and mortar store.
